One of the things I hear the most from new clients is that they have done Pilates mat work on video or Youtube, but didn't think they were doing it right. This lead me to create this tutorial offering some general guidelines that work for MOST people. As with any workout, please do not attempt if you are injured. Have fun!

This is a challenging Pilates Mat workout for the advanced practitioner. TRANSCEND is part 3 of my Three Series of videos. I recommend watching and following along first with BEGIN, then continue with (and master!) EVOLVE. If those go well, have at it and do TRANSCEND! This workout includes inversions, deep back extension, and pushups, all of which require physical ability and accurate understanding of Pilates technique. (All reasons to follow along in the suggested order.) As with any workout, please do not attempt if you are injured. Enjoy the hard work you are about to put in!
